Office Ergonomic Assessments
Employees who spend long hours at a desk need the proper set-up to minimize the risk of developing a musculoskeletal disorder. Tammy is trained to perform OSHA compliant assessments and can provide a detailed report of the findings to you. She can provide you with the necessary action steps to not only improve your employees' comfort level, but to minimize their risk of neck, shoulder, hand/arm pain, among others. She can make equipment recommendations, or suggest modifications and adaptations to make existing equipment work for you.
Employee "Tension Taming" Sessions
For employees experiencing any sort of minor ache or pain, Tammy can provide 1:1 hands-on sessions, typically 15-20 minutes in duration, to help alleviate those pain points. She may use cupping, myofascial release, kinesiology taping, and/or fascial stretching to accomplish this. Workers who feel their best tend to have lower levels of absenteeism and presenteeism, better morale, better productivity; employers can benefit from improved employee retention and use this program as a hiring perk.
Simply by changing the way you interact with your work environment/workstation, we can dramatically reduce or eliminate pain, injuries, future injuries and make your work enjoyable again! Contact us today to schedule your onsite or virtual ergonomic office assessment.
Wellness Services
Tammy uses a variety of soft tissue techniques to relieve your pain. She has adapted her innovative approach, used with upper extremity disorders, for use on other parts of the body and is currently having great success in alleviating chronic back pain in individuals...even those who have had failed traditional physical therapy treatment and multiple epidural injections.
Wellness Mini Sessions
These 30 minute sessions are designed to focus on ONE area of concern for you. Maybe you have an old injury and still have some stiffness...maybe you want to improve your flexibility for your favorite sport...maybe you have a chronic pain that no prior treatment has been able to help...LET'S TALK!
Many people are living life with a nagging ache or pain...nothing bad enough to keep you from performing your daily activities, but let's face it...who wants to deal with a nagging pain or flexibility issue. Maybe you only have a twinge of pain during your golf swing...LET'S TALK.
These 30 minute sessions may use a variety of approaches, including myofascial decompression (cupping), dry needling, IASTM, myofascial release, and/or kinesiology taping...as deemed appropriate by the practitioner.
*To be eligible for this service you must NOT be under a physician's care for the area you want addressed*
**This service is NOT eligible for mobile services**
Lymphatic Drainage Sessions
These 60 minute sessions focus on what could easily be the most overlooked system in your body...the lymphatic system. Dr. Andreas Moritz has said "Rarely is there a disease which is not due to lymphatic obstruction."
Hands-on techniques are used to stimulate and activate the lymph nodes at various points on your body. This helps "unclog" the various drainage points in the body, helping fluids to move more effectively. Stagnation can lead to illness and disease.
Sessions typically also utilize vagus nerve work to help stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, which in turn promotes relaxation of the body's tissues to improve the lymphatic drainage work.
*To be eligible for this service you must NOT have any active cancer, kidney failure, liver failure, or uncontrolled congestive heart failure*
Sessions are offered at the Angel Oak office in Connersville, IN. If you don't live locally, consider a Zoom session with Tammy. She can talk you through the process while you perform the hands-on lymphatic drainage technique on yourself.
**This service is also eligible for mobile services at a premium fee (call or text to discuss, as your location may impact cost)**

It is a merging of occupational and physical therapy theory and practice that combines comprehensive knowledge of the structure of the upper limb with function and activity. Using specialized skills in assessment, planning and treatment, hand therapists provide therapeutic interventions to prevent dysfunction, restore function and/or reverse the progression of pathology of the upper limb in order to enhance an individual’s ability to execute tasks and to participate fully in life situations."
